Plain-English version: Hold The Seats is a free game. Play it, enjoy it, and be kind if you send us a message. These terms explain the ground rules. By using the game or signing in to send feedback, you agree to them.

What Hold The Seats is

Hold The Seats is a free-to-play game of British politics on the real 2024 UK map. It uses real party names, but it is a game: the issues are abstract, and it never uses real politicians' names or faces or speaks for any real person. Nothing in it is a statement of fact or political advice.

Using the game fairly

Please use the game and the feedback feature as intended. Don't try to:

• break, overload, hack, or interfere with the site or other people's use of it;
• copy, take apart, or reuse the game's code, artwork, sounds, or data (see "Who owns it" below);
• post anything unsuitable, or pretend to be someone else.

We can remove any message and block any account that breaks these rules.

Feedback you send

If you sign in and send a suggestion, a person reviews it before it appears anywhere. By sending it, you give us permission to show it (with the first name or nickname you choose) and to use the idea to improve the game, at no charge. Don't send anything that isn't yours to share, and never include personal details like your full name, address, or school. How we handle your sign-in and messages is explained in our privacy note.

Hold The Seats, including its code, artwork, sound, map data, and game design, is © 2026 Hold The Seats, all rights reserved. It is not open-source, and no part of it may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or reused without the owner's written permission.

No guarantees

The game is provided "as is", free of charge, with no warranties. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that saved games won't be lost. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
